- This is a flared sleeve that i have learnt on how to make, to make this sleeve you have to spread out all the pieces so the sleeve could be flared, you could have as many pieces as you want but the sleeve would just go bigger.
-This sleeve is a puffy sleeve, to make this sleeve you section in to 6+ with this you keep a certain amount of gap and you need to make sure that it has a shape around the sleeve so it could be made as a sleeve then.
-This is a image of me making the flared sleeve this is were I have cut out pieces which are roughly the same size an they also have a same size amount of gap, after that I then had to masking tape them down so they would stay in position, i then drew around this with a pencil which then gave me a shape to it so it would help me make a flared sleeve. This would then give me a template for my flared sleeve.
- This is an image of a top that i have made in a small size, on this sample i have made cuff sleeves
-This is an image of the way i have made the flared sleeve i have designed and which has also been model`d on to a manikin.
-This is an image that i have taken of the gathered part that i have done on the top of my flared sleeve.
Samples:
- This is a zoomed image of the way i have designed the 1st sample that i really liked.
This is another image of the flared neckline to make this I have used the gathered over locker to make it have the ruffle type of look at the top.
-In this image i got some printed material which goes with the theme "Circus Cabaret" on top of this material i can print on it to make it look busy and look more circus type.
- This is an image were on a floral printed dress i have used a cared board thing on top to make it look more over the top and circus type, i have got some fabric pieces which i cut out quite big and i then added them to the card to make it look good and also have its own type of design to it.-This is a a piece that i have used this either for a bracelet or a neck less I have gathered on the top of this velvet material to give it an effect.
-This is a zoomed up image of one the designs that I have made were I have got card and I have added big pieces of fabric to make it look more circus type.
Experiment Samples:
- These are images of were I was experimenting using different materials were I was getting materials that I could just iron on which then everything would then go flat. I made 2 samples by using this technique which I really liked and i do think of using for my final piece.
Th- To create the final look for my design idea i have tried my best to use a mix variety of mixed media and i have also tried to use as many things, For example i have used Batik, Ink, wax.
