My Top 4 Inspired Fasion Designer's...

My Opinion: I like the way Galliano has designed the outfits and also the way he has used the bright colours, I also like the way he has used the patterns and the way he has also designed the outfits, for example the was it is puffy and flared or evan gathered.

-How these artist help give me idea`s....

-Elsa Schiaparelli Circus Collection:
*The way Elsa helps give me ideas for my final piece is the way she uses a mix use of colours and also the way and she used big bold bright shapes to make them look unique on each outfit she makes herself..

-Bauhaus Triadic Ballet:
*Bauhaus helps give me ideas for my final piece the way he uses big hoops in his dress to make them look go, i also like the way they use not to bright colours and also the way they use big floral patterns.

-Galliano Circus Collection 1997:
*Galliano gives me ideas the way he thinks out of the box and also the way he makes flared, A-line and also the bright subtle colours.

-Desigual Cirque Du Soliel:
*I like the way Desigual uses light, bold, strong colours that make the clothing look visually imactive, and also the way he uses the same print throughout the dress(outfit).

-These are all the ideas that i could bring into my own work.

What Is CatWalk Fashion?...
- The differnce between Desigual and Galliano work is that Galliano's work looks more cat walk type, for example the way he has made the big puffy dresses and also the style he has worked in..by using the big accessories such as the head pieces and also the weird type of dresses. However with Desigual's work it doesn't tend to look like the catwalk fashion type of thing because he has gone for a more formal casual type of look, which is a big difference between Galliano's work. I like the way the both designers have used visually impactive patterns which make the outfits look good, I also like the way they have used bright colours to make the dresses stand out and the way they look flared.

What is the new look and why was it so shocking after the war in 1950s..?/ Haute Couture....

Christian Diors:

In the decade 1945s the world war had just come to an end and then 2 years later came in Christian Dior’s with his ideas in the year 1947s for example in the article is says “in February 1947 Christian Dior brought fashion back with a fanfare when he unveiled his new season of clothes that were a world away from wartime austerity".

The reason why there were a lot of people who were shocked was because he would waist money and also fabric because in them days the people was quite poor and they thought he was just waiting money but then again, the women did start to dress as men for example when they started to work in the factories when there husbands all went to the war, this is when Christian Dior started to make outfits for women to make them look glamorous as well as feeling glamorous  "It became much more norm to wear trousers as your clothes had to be practical if you were working in a factory or on a farm" In this quote it does show that the people would tend to dress more comfortable and the clothes also had to be practical if they wanted to work in a factory or even a farm.

Haute Couture:
- Looking at my primary research i think Haute Couture is a really expensive outfit which the celebrities would tend to wear as they are eight grand each. The colours that are used are bright, bold and strong, which makes them look unique and however you wouldn't tend to wear these clothes on a normal casual day you would either were these to a party. And the celebrities would wear them on a red carpet. The patterns make them look expensive aswell as the fabric and also the small waist.

Circus Images...

-In this image i like the way the colours go together with each othor. And i also like the style of the way they have designed the outfit itself...for example i like the way they have used the feathers in to this outfits and the way they have used matching colours. I also like the way they have used the different type of materials and the way they have used

Weekly Diary...

- This is a flared sleeve that i have learnt on how to make, to make this sleeve you have to spread out all the pieces so the sleeve could be flared, you could have as many pieces as you want but the sleeve would just go bigger.
-This sleeve is a puffy sleeve, to make this sleeve you section in to 6+ with this you keep a certain amount of gap and you need to make sure that it has a shape around the sleeve so it could be made as a sleeve then.

This is a gathered sleeve this sleeve you just have to cut 5 pieces out from the top of the template and you then just re-position them, for it to have that gathered-ness at the top of the sleeve to make it have the slight hint of a puff to it.
-This is a image of me making the flared sleeve this is were I have cut out pieces which are roughly the same size an they also have a same size amount of gap, after that I then had to masking tape them down so they would stay in position, i then drew around this with a pencil which then gave me a shape to it so it would help me make a flared sleeve. This would then give me a template for my flared sleeve.
- This is an image of a top that i have made in a small size, on this sample i have made cuff sleeves
-This is an image of the way i have made the flared sleeve i have designed and which has also been model`d on to a manikin.
-This is an image that i have taken of the gathered part that i have done on the top of my flared sleeve.

Samples:
- This is a zoomed image of the way i have designed the 1st sample that i really liked.
This is another image of the flared neckline to make this I have used the gathered over locker to make it have the ruffle type of look at the top.
-In this image i got some printed material which goes with the theme "Circus Cabaret" on top of this material i can print on it to make it look busy and look more circus type.
- This is an image were on a floral printed dress i have used a cared board thing on top to make it look more over the top and circus type, i have got some fabric pieces which i cut out quite big and i then added them to the card to make it look good and also have its own type of design to it.
-This is a a piece that i have used this either for a bracelet or a neck less I have gathered on the top of this velvet material to give it an effect.
-This is a zoomed up image of one the designs that I have made were I have got card and I have added big pieces of fabric to make it look more circus type.

Experiment Samples:
- These are images of were I was experimenting using different materials were I was getting materials that I could just iron on which then everything would then go flat. I made 2 samples by using this technique which I really liked and i do think of using for my final piece.
Th

- To create the final look for my design idea i have tried my best to use a mix variety of mixed media and i have also tried to use as many things, For example i have used Batik, Ink, wax.
