What Is Self-Promotion?
-Promoting yourself and also show everyone your work and show them how passonate you are on what you can do.

-So you can show everyone what you do, and also to create more opportunities.

Colour Palette..MoodBoard..
-These are the colours that i will be using throught this circus cabaret project..
The reason why i have chosen these colours is because i think they are all soft nutral colours which are all visually impactive to me.
However i have also reaserched some catwalk designers, which the colours that i have chosen relate to some of there work.

Fashion Making - Tutor One to One
1) Research is much better, complete now by adding Moscow Circus and finishing Circus Sol.
2) You still need to say what your theme is and why, you have talked about John Galliano's work being over the top just add it to this.
3) Choose a colour palette of five colour from your research and do 5 more coloured illustrations to give you ideas for your final garment.

Research Of Artists...
Alexandra Mc Queen:
-The way this image gives me idea's is the way the dress itself is big and puffy and the way it has it own circus type of look. I also like the way they have used big pieces of fabric to make it look unique. In my design i was thinking of making something like this the reason be is because it is something different and it makes the dress look visually impactive..
Christian LaCroix:
-The way this dress inspires me the the way it is flared from the top an also the way it is gathered from the middle towards the bottom this makes the dress itself look visually impactive and also makes the dress look good and have its own catwalk circus type of effect. In my outfit that I will be making I want it to have gathered fabric and also have bows i also like the way the fabric sticks out on the sides due to the gatherdness.
John Paul Gautier:
-This is an outfit that John Paul Gautier has designed with this dress in a way I do like it but then again I don't the reason being is because of the material that has been used itself which makes it look cheap. However I do think that the flowers are quite nice which make the dress look pretty and have a designed look other wise the dresses would have just been plain and wouldn't have look as good as I thought they would have.
Victor And Rolf:
-This is Victor and Ralf's work which I really like the reason being is because of the way the dress part is really big from the neck line part, also the way it is all flared..The reason why I like this is because I was thinking of making something like this for my circus outfit. However I also like the way the designer has layered up the pieces to make it look itself.
Cirque Dusoliel Images:
Moscow Images..
-The thing I like about Cirque DuSoliel`s work is the way it looks circus type where as for Moscow's work it's just plain and they are not done up properly like the way Cirque's is..For example Cirque has though out of the box and has used big creative idea`s aswell as weird and different. However with Moscow's work he has just used jumpsuit's which I don't think it is that creative but I do like the designs that have been used in to the costumes..

-My theme is a catwalk theme. The reason why I have chosen this theme is because I think it is quite different and I'm also adding abit of a twist to it were it is a circus type of catwalk..

Catwalk Is A Circus...
White Face Clown...
-This white-face clown is a very 'Classic' clown, The most oldest and well known clowns..straight clown on the skits.
The white-face clown is the most intelligent type of clown in the highest status.
Auguste Clown..
-The Auguste clown is the least intelligent, and zaniest of the clowns. The Auguste clown tends to be the silly clown in skits. Make-up is a flesh-tone base, with features outlined. The costume of the Auguste clown tends to be gaudy, mismatched, over-sized and very bright.
Acrobats..
-Acrobatics goes back to the time of the ancient Greeks. The "acrobat" word was originated from the Greek language. Acrobatics is a demonstration involving great agility and complexity. Acrobatics is now seen in many other ways such as athletic events other than the circus, where it began. Some of the well-known sports that involve acrobatics are gymnastics, ice-skating, roller-skating, and diving
